ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I can't DL anything. I keep receiving these spam links asking me to click on things that lead me nowhere. Oh well... This applies to all the recent posts.

ReplyDeleteDon't click on anything (except 'leave page'). Occasionally there's a spam page creaming at you that your computer has been infected with a virus – you have to close that page, since it won't go away, and that may mean you have to try again with the file download. In my experience a; fly always takes you to the uploaded page eventually.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Zelenka. What you suggest used to work in the past. Not now. You need to click on EACH individual link, wait for a few second, click on a link, then get lots of pop-ups, sometimes you get the target link, sometimes you don't (then you have to start all over). Sometimes you get a scam page, sometimes you just go to another page and can't go back to the original link. In the past, we could simply copy the links into JDownloader. That doesn't work anymore. Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteJust confirming that copying the links into JDownloader, even directly, has no effect; JDownloader reports no file is found so the issue seems to be at the adf.ly site. Must have been hacked. Hopefully they will sort it out eventually.
ReplyDeleteGet a browser extension called Adf.ly skipper. Right-click on an adf.ly link to open in a new window. You see the uploaded link right away. Now right-click on that link and save it to JDownloader. Works great!
