WOW! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteGreat, thank you!
ReplyDeleteI've been playing these. The remastering is sensational. Some of the best mono sound (and recording--lots of old Westminster) I've ever heard. Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteArchipel and other sketchy Italian labels like Andromeda used to do a hatchet job with their remasterings back in the 90s. The Cedar system they used completely killed the actual music under the guise of "noise reduction", which was also music reduction. Archipel has gotten much better lately, with the advances in technology and their own learning that it's not always best to aim for the most noise reduction possible, especially not at the expense of the actual music.
DeleteNow we're talking! Real music played by a real conductor. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteHello Thang Nguyen. The link leading to CD17 (Haydn Symphonies) does not work. Please re-up. Thanks for your good work.
