The link for CD 23 was already included in the link list. You needn't provide it again. The problem is that this link leads to a non-existent file.

(However, Thang has provided us with so much other music, it would take several lifetimes for me to listen to it all properly.) Regardless, huge, continued thanks!

ReplyDeleteA treasure trove! Thank you. Knappertsbusch, Monteux, Scherchen give outstanding interpretations of music I cherish. I still rank Scherchen as among the top Mahler conductors. His First and Fifth and Seventh are exemplary. Before Scherchen, I had trouble with the Seventh. Now, thanks to you and shares of Scherchen, as well as Hans Rosbaud, I not only understand this work, I revere it. Speaking of great Mahler conductors, you might try to find Wyn Morris' recordings of the First, Fifth, Eight and Ninth. His readings are among the greatest I have ever heard.
