i can't believe how many parts there are. it seems like philips has put their entire catalog, or a substantial portion on, in this series. owning this entire series alone would be a great classical/opera collection.
Just checked all 220 discs (currently 30.05.2018) of the Philips Duo Collection that I have downloaded from Pippo ("Diabolus In Musica") - mostly by checking file size - only found one that was below the normal CD size of the collection, and that was of today's upload (Rachmaninov piano concertos - Kocsis) - but re-downloaded it and that was then OK. Sampled about one in every ten of all 220 discs using VLC. All played OK without exception.
Now playing the collection in random mode (shuffle) in MusicBee - all seem to be playing OK - so far.
I do notice that some of the files are of the entire CD in one file - not separated into individual tracks - I understand that this can be rectified by some clever software - beyond me though - an occasional long track of a whole work/CD is, I guess good, for the soul? Doesn't worry me unduly.
So happy that Thang Nguyen has been so generous in sharing this collection with us.
