  2. Thanks for these great APR boxes. I have most of them, but it is nice to have the scans. I'd like to point out that this box is not a comprehensive surve of all of Gieseking's solo studio recordings in the 1950's, but rather his complete 1950's recordings of Brahms, Schubert and Schumann. He recorded other composers in the studio as well during the 1950s, including Debussy, Ravel, Beethoven etc. It is especially nice to have the Brahms op.117 Intermezzi on CD for the first time.

  10. I'm on Ubuntu Linux and the default archive manager (Fileroller I think it's called) won't unpack many of the archives from here, but another (named "Ark") works fine. I don't know what OS you're on, but maybe you better try another from what you're normally using.
