Finnish conductor Paavo Berglund (1929-2012) was renowned for his interpretations of Sibelius, and recorded his complete symphonies no less than three times, with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, the Helsinki Philharmonic and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe.
